Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene Trick or treat till the neighbors die of
fright It's our town, everybody scream In this town of Halloween
I am the one hiding under your bed Teeth grown sharp and eyes glowing red
I am the one hiding under your stairs Fingers like snakes and spiders in my hair
This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song In this town, don't we love it now?
Everybody's waiting for the next surprise
Round that corner, man hiding in the trash can Something's waiting now to pounce, and how
you'll scream Scream! This is Halloween Red 'n' black, slimy green
Aren't you scared?
Well, that's just fine Say it once, say it twice Take the chance and roll the dice
Ride with the moon in the dead of night Everybody scream, everybody scream
In our town of Halloween I am the clown with the tear-away face Here in a flash and gone without a trace I am the "who" when you call, "Who's there?" I am the wind blowing through your hair
I am the shadow on the moon at night Filling your dreams to the brim with fright
This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
Tender lumplings everywhere Life's no fun without a good scare That's our job, but we're not mean
in our town of Halloween In this town Don't we love it now? Everyone's waiting for the next surprise
Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back And scream like a banshee Make you jump out of your skin
This is Halloween, everybody scream Won't ya please make way for a very special guy Our man jack is king of the pumpkin patch Everyone hail to the Pumpkin King now
This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song
La la-la la, Halloween! Halloween!
I loveHalloween!
Todays Make it monday is going to be all about ornies... for your halloween tree of course.
Last year I made a halloween tree, because my mom gave me some absolutely adorable
homemade ornies for my brithday. I fell in love. Here was my inspiration...

See pretty cute right... But I needed some more to go on a tree.. so after looking through pintrest...
I know it was a tough job but someone had to do it. I found some ideas I liked .

ORNIE#1
Halloween paper accordian ornaments
I found these on pintrest ... you can click on the pictures to be sent to  the blogss
http://amazingmae.blogspot.com/2010/10/halloween-tree-ornaments.html http://thecraftyblogstalker.com/diy-spooky-halloween-tree/
These were super simple. grab yourself some scrapbook paper.
cut the paper into strips 1 inch -2.5 inch. depending on how big or small you want your ornie.
take the strips and fold back and forth until you are at the end.
Grab your hot glue gun and glue the edges together so they form a circle. Making it an accordian fan type circle. Cut some scrapbook paper in a circle and glue to your middle... then decorate as desired. I  found really cool vintagey looking skull 3d stickers at my walmart last year & i used plastic spiders. I added lace and used bakers twine to make holders for them... voila!

ORNIE#2
halloween punkin wood squares ornies
These were my inspiration but sadly they were being sold on etsy and are no longer available so I can't link ya back to it.
These were another super easy project.
You just buy some wood squares from your craft store. I used Popsicle sticks that I broke so theyd be all messy looking, and painted them brown. I painted the squares orange with cheap acrylic paint, then sanded edges. I went through my button stash and found different buttons to use as eyes, & hot glue them on. I painted on the nose and mouth. then I found some green twine I had leftover from the dollar tree and used it for vines. used bakers twine for the holder and added some lace, to make it purty... see easy!

ORNIE#3
halloween modge podged paper star ornies
For these ornies, I saw these paper machete stars in the christmas stuff at Hobby lobby.
I used leftover scrapbook paper and traced one side of the star. cut out all the papers.I took black acrylic paint and grunged the edges up a little.. hey i like vintage stuff lol. then modge podge them on each star side. Modge podge over it to make sure its all sealed. Then I took glitter glue and went over the star points, and added a little acrylic gem to the center.. DONE!

ORNIE#4
pipecleaner trees halloween ornies

Here was my inspiration for these cute little trees. I couldnt find any rusty bells so I bought regular ones and painted them to look rusty. Finding a tutorial for these was hard. I got pipecleaners and found the spools at hobby lobby. I took a wooden dowel and stuck it through the spool & hot glued it.
I broke it off the size I wanted the tree to be. I ended up taking cotton balls and shaping my tree , using some tape my hubby gave me to keep from getting blisters.. not sure what its called but it was handy and is almost gauze like downside it was green. I hot glued two colors of pipecleaner to the spool and then just twisted you the tree.. making sure you keep the colors right and you keep the shape if the tree. then I hot glue the pipecleaner to the top of the dowel and then glued the rusty bell to the top. to put mine on the tree I just used those cheap green wire xmas ornie holders, put it through a layer of the pipecleaner towards the top. I didn't paint my spools cuz I like them the way they were. But I did hot glue some scrapbook paper on the middle of them.

ORNIE#5

to make these ornies  I used really small pumpkins from a set I bought at walmart that had pinecones and leafs in it. they are about 1-1/2 inches big.I cut a dowel to make it the desired length and pushed it into the bottom of the pumpkin(they were made from styrofam and plastic so it wasnt hard. I took ribbon and wound it up the dowel. hot glueing bottom and top. I glued a rusty bell to the bottoms. and made some of those accrodian ornies for the neck. hot glueing them to stay, on some. on the others I used scrapbook paper cut into traingle to make a jester type of neck. I modge podged these and curled them around a pencil to shape them. Then I made mini clown hats and mini crowns out of scrapbook paper and pipecleaner. hot glueing them to the tops of the pumpkins. Then I painted faces on the punkins taking inspiration from that last little guy cuz it was so stinkin cute.

Okey dokey  Halloween ornies on a make it monday. If you have any pinned or have seen any that you would like to share I'd love to see them. Or if ya have a halloween tree! Just leave me a comment. and you can follow my spookables board on pintrest if ya like!

until next week...
